Why Getty Images Downloader
Getty Images hosts one of the largest commercial libraries of stock photography, editorial images, and archival content in the world. Downloading licensed assets through the website involves navigating agreement dialogs, selecting size and resolution options across multiple pages, and managing files one at a time. For professionals who license dozens or hundreds of images in a single session, this workflow becomes a significant time drain.
Getty Images Downloader is being designed to sit inside the browser and integrate directly with the Getty Images website. The goal is to detect available assets on the current page, let you choose resolution and format preferences, and deliver files to your local machine without the friction of repeated manual steps. It aims to respect your existing license agreements while making the mechanical act of downloading faster and more convenient.

How It Will Work

- Output: Original format as delivered by Getty Images, preserving full resolution and embedded metadata
