SKILL.md 原文

LinkedIn Content Architect

Audience: Professionals building personal brands on LinkedIn who understand the platform basics but struggle with consistent engagement and growth.

Approach: Vulnerable professionalism—real struggles and wins that professionals secretly relate to. Optimize for the algorithm while maintaining authenticity.

Conversation Starter

Use AskUserQuestion to gather initial context. Begin by asking:

"I'll help you build a LinkedIn content system that establishes your thought leadership.

Please provide:

  1. Professional Role: What do you do? (title, industry, company size)
  2. Expertise Areas: What topics can you speak authoritatively on?
  3. Target Audience: Who do you want to attract? (roles, industries)
  4. Content Goal: What outcome? (leads, hiring, partnerships, authority)
  5. Current Presence: How many followers? What's working/not?
  6. Authenticity Angle: What personal experiences or contrarian views can you share?"

Research Methodology

Use WebSearch to find:

  • Current LinkedIn algorithm priorities (2026 data)
  • Viral LinkedIn posts in their industry (last 30 days)
  • LinkedIn engagement benchmarks by follower count
  • Optimal posting times for professional content

Strategy Framework

1. Content Pillars (3-5)

Pillar%Purpose
Core Authority30%Establishes expertise
High Engagement25%Drives comments/shares
Audience Attraction20%Attracts target market
Personal/Relatability15%Builds connection
Promotional10%Drives business outcomes

Content Type Distribution:

  • Educational: 60%
  • Personal/Story: 25%
  • Promotional: 15%

2. Hook Categories

CategoryFormulaUse Case
Contrarian"[Common belief] is wrong"Thought leadership
Vulnerable"I [failed/struggled with X]"Relatability
Insider"After [credential], I learned"Authority
Data/Results"[Number] [result] in [time]"Credibility
Pattern Interrupt"Stop [action]. Do this instead"Quick wins
Value-First"[Audience] waste [X]% on [Y]. Here's the [Z]% that works"Trust, saves

Hook Rule: Lead with the value, not the tease. "Founders waste 80% of their LinkedIn effort on content that never converts" beats "I almost quit everything last year." The audience is bait-fatigued — make the payoff obvious before "see more."

See references/templates.md for 15+ hook examples.

3. Post Formats

FormatLengthBest For
Story Arc1,200-1,500 charsEngagement, relatability
Tactical How-To1,000-1,300 charsAuthority, saves
Contrarian Take800-1,200 charsComments, debate
PDF Carousel8-12 slidesShares, saves, dwell time
Short VideoUnder 90 secondsReach, brand recognition
Poll4 optionsEasy engagement

PDF Carousels are the highest-reach visual format. A 10-slide swipe generates 45-60 seconds of dwell time vs 2 seconds for a static image. LinkedIn rewards posts that keep users on-platform longer.

Short Video Rules:

  • Hook in first 3 seconds (visual or spoken pattern interrupt)
  • One clear insight per video, under 90 seconds
  • Captions are non-negotiable — 80%+ watch without sound
  • This is a scroll platform, not YouTube. 5-10 minute videos get skipped

See references/templates.md for complete templates.

4. Posting Cadence

Optimal: 3-5 posts/week

DayPost TypeGoal
MonStory/MotivationStart week with engagement
TueTactical How-ToEducational value
WedCarouselShareable asset
ThuContrarian/OpinionDrive comments
FriPersonal/VulnerableWeekend engagement

Best times (B2B):

  • 7:00-8:00 AM (commute)
  • 11:30-12:30 PM (lunch)
  • 5:00-6:00 PM (wind-down)

First 60 minutes: CRITICAL

  • 0-15 min: Reply to every comment
  • 15-30 min: Ask follow-ups to extend conversations
  • 30-60 min: Engage with others' posts
  • Do NOT post and disappear. This window is the difference between 2K and 30K+ impressions

5. Daily Engagement (Non-Negotiable)

Spend 15-20 minutes daily leaving substantive comments on posts in your niche:

  • Puts your name in front of other creators' audiences (free distribution)
  • Trains the algorithm to associate your profile with activity and relevance
  • Builds relationships that compound into collaborations and referrals

Comment quality bar: actual opinions, actual disagreements, follow-up questions. Not "Great post!" or "I agree, here are 3 takeaways." If your comment could apply to any post, it's not specific enough.

6. Algorithm Signals

SignalWeightHow to Optimize
SavesVery HighTactical content worth returning to
DM sharesVery HighContent people forward to colleagues
Comment threadsVery HighReply to extend conversations
Dwell timeHighCarousels, long-form worth reading slowly
Early commentsHighAsk questions, be controversial

2026 Priority Shift: Saves and DM shares are now the top distribution signals. Likes are vanity. Optimize for "would I DM this to someone?" — that's the quality bar.

Link Placement: Never put links in the post body. LinkedIn suppresses reach on posts that route users off-platform. Put links in the first comment and mention "link below" in the post. This one change immediately improves distribution.

Comment triggers:

  • "What's your take?"
  • "Has this happened to you?"
  • "What's ONE thing you'd add?"

7. Hook Quality Checklist

  • Creates curiosity gap in first 3 lines (before "see more")
  • Speaks to specific audience pain or desire
  • Avoids cliches ("I'm humbled", "Thrilled to announce")
  • Works on mobile
  • Promises specific value

8. Profile Optimization

ElementOptimization
ProfilePost from personal profile, not company page. Company pages get 3-5% the organic reach
Headline"I help [audience] achieve [result]" not job title. ONE clear topic, not "CEO \Speaker \Mentor \Coffee Addict"
AboutOpens with hook → result you deliver → who you deliver it to → why you're credible. Not your life story
FeaturedPin top 3 posts
BannerProfessional with clear message
