Notes

  • ffmpeg handles almost all audio formats
  • -c copy is fast but may be inaccurate for trimming
  • Re-encode (-af) for precise cuts but takes longer
  • Opus is best for speech at low bitrates
  • Use loudnorm filter for consistent volume across files
